Ben Stokes has had enough of Virat Kohli shouting BC jokes
The BC-Stokes jokes have become a butt of jokes on social media.
Virat Kohli is an animated character on the cricket pitch and his intensity never drops at any point in time. The same shows when he’s marshalling his troops while fielding, while he is plying his trade as a batsman or even from the dressing room. However, he tends to get carried away and at times uses cuss words to express his emotions and passion for the game of cricket.
He generally says Bh***od, the lip-reading of which is pretty equivalent to Ben Stokes, the English all-rounder. Subsequently, Kohli’s cuss words and Stokes have become a butt of jokes on social media. The 30-year-old Kohli is currently a part of the Indian team in the 2019 World Cup. Even in India’s match against Pakistan at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, he used cuss words.
In the meantime, Stokes isn’t quite happy with Kohli’s BC jokes. He took to Twitter and wrote, “I may delete Twitter just so I don’t have to see another tweet reading “He’s saying Ben Stokes”(when he’s clearly not ) in reply to a video of Virat saying you know what it was funny the first 100,000 times,”

A decent World Cup campaign for Stokes
The New Zealand-born Stokes has had a decent World Cup campaign thus far. He got the Player of the Match in England’s first match against South Africa at the Kennington Oval in London. The all-rounder batted in the middle order and churned out 89 vital runs after which he came back and picked up a couple of quick wickets to wrap up the Proteas innings.
He had an off-day against Pakistan as he could contribute with neither bat or ball. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old had a great time versus Bangladesh at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Though he could only manage six runs with the bat, he picked up three crucial wickets to halt the Tigers’ surge.
Against the Windies at the Rose Bowl in Southampton, he didn’t need to do much. England is next scheduled to lock horns with Afghanistan on June 18 at the Old Trafford and Stokes need to be on top of his game. The Three Lions are currently placed fourth in the points table with six points.
