Brian Lara scored the highest individual total for West Indies during his quadruple century against England at St John’s in April 2004 is also the highest individual score in the Test history. His innings of an unbeaten 400 came in 582 balls with the help of 43 fours and 4 sixes. The Windies piled up 751/5 in their first innings and England had to bat twice in succession to save the match.
