While his numbers with the bat may not be impressive, the timing of his runs coming in was really good and that was what caused him to be appreciated in the cricketing circles.

Placed at the second spot in the ICC all-rounder’s rankings, Maxwell played 6 T20I matches this year and scored a total of 111 runs and to add the icing to the cake, also took 3 wickets at an economy of 7.67 runs per over, thus proving his worth as an all-rounder for his national team.
