Multiple glitches occurred during the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL 2025 (Indian Premier League), which led to outrage from the viewers. During the toss, when the batters came out to bat in the middle, and when they batted, especially when Virat Kohli and Phil Salt were batting in the middle, there were repeated glitches, which led to the collective frustration from the viewers.
While everything went fine for the TV viewers, things were not smooth for the mobile users. As Rajat Patidar and Riyan Parag came out for the toss, there was a tiny glitch, and the users could not smoothly witness who won the toss in time. By the time the display came on, the captains were speaking after the toss.
As RCB had to bat first and the duo of Kohli and Salt entered the middle to bat, viewers were excited to see them bat. Unfortunately, there was another glitch while Virat was batting. Just before he faced Jofra Archer and Co., the screen froze, and the viewers were frustrated to the core.

While some users thought the problem had something to do with their network, they soon realised everyone faced similar problems. It was not the first instance of glitches occurring during the IPL 2025. In some of the matches, a similar situation had occurred. But the fact that the fans were denied of Virat in action and Jiostar not learning from their mistakes meant a huge outrage from the viewers.
