Best XI that never played IPL
Big names that are yet to bag an IPL contract.
10. Stuart Broad
Stuart Broad might not have played a T20 in over 4 years, but he is still a quality bowler and continues to impress everyone in the longest and purest format of the game. The Englishman is a veteran in Test matches having played nearly 150 games and has picked up more than 500 wickets as well.
In the shortest format of the game, he has scalped 100 wickets in 85 games at a strike rate of 17.80 and even his economy rate of 7.19 is quite good. He is also his country’s 2nd highest wicket-taker in this format with 65 wickets in 56 appearances.
The 34-year-old was a part of Kings XI Punjab’s squad back in 2011, but injury ruled him out from taking any part, and thus, he still remains without an IPL appearance. With the fast bowler not playing T20 cricket anymore, there is absolutely no chance for him to take part in the league.
