The 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to hit floors from September 19, and the preparations were going amid top-level safety and security. However, in a shocking turn of events, 10-members of Chennai Super Kings contingent tested COVID-19 positive on Friday, August 28 and it created a huge stir in the team.
The franchise has extended their quarantine period and is now expected to touch the field from September 1. All the teams have already completed their mandatory quarantine after landing in the gulf country. The CSK staff and players were also done with their required isolation period before this incident disturbed things for them.
Some of the key players of the Yellow Army including, MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, and Piyush Chawla, were part of the preparatory camp that was in action at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai before taking off for UAE last week.
As the quarantine period goes on and on, star CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja got involved in a hilarious exchange of comments with a fan on his latest Instagram post.
The 31-year-old uploaded a picture of his own with a coffee mug in hand relaxing on the sofa of the hotel room. He captioned the image as “Chilling with my self!” #selfmotivation #dontgiveup.
One of his fans jumped in excitement and asked on the post, “ Photo kisne khichi…chilling with myself??” The fan asked Jadeja in order to know who else is chilling with him while he says to be alone.

Now, having a delay in their training period owing to members tested positive, the team will look forward to the ways in which the delay doesn’t hamper their preparation much in the coming days. Post this incident, the entire camp is being tested again, and the affected people have been shifted to a different hotel. All of them have been reported stable.
