Bowlers who have dismissed all 11 batsmen in a Test match
4. Abdul Qadir v England, 1987:
Abdul Qadir was the ‘Rockstar’ of leg-spin bowling before Shane Warne added glamour to the art. Qadir was a master leg spinner and Imran Khan’s go-to man in crisis situations. Whenever the team required a quick breakthrough, Qadir was the man to reach for. Qadir’s 13/101 against England at Lahore in 1987 was an exceptional display of leg-spin bowling. He was literally all over his opposition.
In the first innings, Qadir almost missed on becoming the second bowler ever to take all ten wickets in a Test inning (Jim Laker was the first) after he recorded a stunning 9/56 to help Pakistan bundle out their opposition for 175. In the second innings, he ensured that the Pakistan batsmen didn’t need to come out to bat again in the game after he took a superb 4/45 and along with the support of Tauseef Ahmed and Iqbal Qasim, bowled out England for a paltry 130 and were defeated by an innings and 87 runs.
