Brad Hogg states thats important for Kuldeep Yadav's to remain level-headed
He has just to make sure he keeps his head on his shoulders: Hogg on Kuldeep
Brad Hogg, who is currently covering the ongoing face-off between India and Australia, suggested that it is the accuracy of Kuldeep Yadav that remains one of his major strengths. One of the biggest reasons for India’s success against the Aussies in the recently concluded ODI series was that the left arm chinaman managed to play on the minds of Steve Smith and co.
So much so that the Australians fetched local boy KK Jiyas in order to deal with Yadav’s deceptive line and length. In spite all the preparations, the visitors were unable to deal with the guile of India’s prized procession as he went on to claim 7 wickets in the four matches he played.
In the Kolkata ODI, despite the early assault from Glenn Maxwell, Kuldeep Yadav came back into the match with a hat-trick down the order to seal the deal for his side. He first dismissed Matthew Wade as the wicket-keeper chopped one onto the stumps. He then removed Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins in successive deliveries to complete the hat-trick.
He has just to make sure he keeps his head on his shoulders: Hogg on Kuldeep
Hogg, who has witnessed the growth of the left-armer first hand during his stint at Kolkata Knight Riders, believes India lost the upper hand in the Champions Trophy by not include Kuldeep in the lineup.
“Everyone’s career graph is different. We all go through different phases and he has got a great foundation. Now he has just to make sure he keeps his head on his shoulders, don’t think too far ahead and keep working on his game,” mentioned Brad Hogg in an interview according to Zee News.
“He has just got to make sure he is reliable when the captain calls him to bowl. The best cricketers in the world are consistent and reliable, they do the job,” concluded the 46-year old who last featured in the BBL for Melbourne Renegades.
