Former Australian speedster Brett Lee is currently in India acting as a commentator in the Karnataka Premier League. The lethal blonde is having a fascinating time in the country and there not a shade of doubt over that fact. Lee, who bowled consistently above the 145 kph mark during his prime, tried his hands out at a different sport in Mysore, one of the biggest cities in the state of Karnataka.

The main story:

On Friday, September 8th, Brett Lee went head to head against some local wrestlers engaging himself in a ‘Dangal’ session. The charming Aussie followed all the rules and entered the ring by bending down and touching the ground. A huge crowd showed up at the place to see the legendary cricketer show off his skills as a wrestler. Brett Lee wore a blue tee shirt paired with a gray short as he took on the local wrestlers.

Quite interestingly, Lee pinned a trained wrestler down in the bout and the video was uploaded by the Karnataka Premier League’s official Twitter handle. Brett Lee himself shared a picture from the fight and paired it with a caption. Brett Lee urged his fans to keep an eye on Star Sports to catch him trying out the sport.

Brett Lee also spent time with the elephants in the city of Mysuru along with former Australian cricketer Dean Jones.  In a video that Lee shared from his official Twitter handle we can see Lee and Jones taking blessings from the elephants. Lee also had visited Mysuru Queen Pramoda Devi and had a private tour of the Royal Palace. The Australian star even revealed he had played piano for the “Royal Highness of Mysuru”.

Brett Lee has also been a part of the Tamil Nadu premier League along with Dean Jones and Mathew Hayden. The trio was seen wearing Dhotis on the prosperous occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
