Candice Warner shows real courage to shut the bullies and trollers
Not many people know that Candice is a fine athlete herself.
Team Australia recently registered a thumping win in the first Ashes Test against England this season. One of the key architects of their fine win was opener David Warner, who remained unbeaten with a fifty in the second innings. Certainly, Warner conquered his daemons on the field. Meanwhile, there was another Warner – Candice Warner – who won her own little battle with the past at the stands.
Candice Warner, wife of David Warner, was haunted severely by her past during the game. The crowds kept reminding her of her past and used it to mock the Aussie opener. The chants went loud and they were nothing short of being mere bullies. But the way the lady responded, it only shows the great character that she has.
Not many people know that Candice is a fine athlete herself. She had completed her first ever ironwoman when she was only fourteen yeas old. And by the age of 16, she had become the New South Wales ironwoman champion. Now, she is a proud mother of two cute little girls and a proud wife to David Warner.
Bullies from the past
When she was just 22, she was filmed in a toilet cubicle at a pub with a football player. The incident brought a lot of infamy to her and the news was on the newspaper headlines the very next day. Recently, these daemons came back to haunt her as the stupid fans mocked her with those old chants. They belittled Candice Warner and attacked her integrity.
It was bullying of the worst form. But, the lady stood on with her daughters at the stand and kept cheering for the Australian team. It just showed the austerity of the lady and was a fitting answer to all those trollers. She later posted an update on the social media platform Instagram wherein she is seen with her daughter at the stands.
