3 time World Cup winner and 2 time World Cup winning Captain Ricky Ponting of Australia won 26 matches in World Cup history and 24 of those matches were in a row. Australia won the 2003 and 2007 World cup undefeated in any of the matches under his captaincy, losing finally to Pakistan in 2011 World Cup group stage match. One the most aggressive and brilliant minded captain, Ricky Ponting retired form cricket in 2012.
