1983 World Cup winner Kapil Dev has 11 wins in World Cup history. He also led India in the 1987 World Cup, where India reached the semi-final stages to be defeated by England in Mumbai. Kapil Dev also scored India’s first ODI and World Cup century in 1983 against Zimbabwe, a match winning 175*.
