'Chal Jhootha'- Fans hilariously troll Brad Hogg after he compares IPL with PSL
Brad Hogg replies to a fan's question on Twitter.
Indian Premier League is arguably one of the biggest domestic T20 leagues across the globe. It has emerged as a talent-producing machine for different countries across the globe. Meanwhile, there is the Pakistan Super League, that came into existence just five years ago based one the same model followed by IPL.
There is no comparison between these two tournaments there is a big difference between the two on its viewership grounds, quality and everything. However, Brad Hogg did compare IPL and PSL on the same ground due to which he got trolled by the netizens for the same.
IPL came into existence back in 2008 and it has received lots of praise from across the globe. At the moment every professional cricketer dreams to play in the same. It’s been 12 successful years since the cash-rich league came into the wider picture. On the other hand, the Pakistan Super League returned to its country for the first time in history.
Brad Hogg rates IPL as well as PSL on Twitter
Earlier overseas players used to fear to keep foot in that country due to a tragic terrorist shootout that took place back in 2009 on Sri Lanka cricket team. But this year PCB got a big breakthrough as some of the big names like Shane Watson, Jason Roy and many more agreed to play in the Men in Green country. However, that doesn’t give any air to the comparison between IPL and PSL.
Recently, a fan questioned Brad Hogg if he had to rate PSL and IPL then what points will he give to both the leagues. The former Aussie player took to his official Twitter handle and replied saying that both the leagues should be given 9 out of 10 ratings. He felt that PSL has managed to bring cricket back in their country.
On the other hand, IPL has a vast audience to entertain according to Hogg. He said– “Both 9 out of 10. The PSL has been the most prevalent of late because it has bought the game back to Pakistan. The IPL has the most interest in viewership worldwide.”
This reply didn’t go down well with the fans and Hogg was hilariously trolled by the netizens on social media for his comparison between both the leagues.
