Chris Gayle’s special gift for Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuvraj Singh
West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle is one of the most attacking batsmen in world cricket. Gayle, who is known as a big-hitter, had released his autobiography recently, named ‘Six Machine: I Don’t Like Cricket… I Love it’.
Gayle has gifted the book to his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammates Virat Kohli and Ab de Villiers and to Yuvraj Singh of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who was associated with RCB in the previous season of IPL. The Jamaican also posted pictures of him presenting books to three of them in his Instagram account.
Being known for his big-hitting capabilities, Gayle had featured in respective leagues of different cricketing nations and had entertained the crowd and thus has a huge fan base all across the globe.

The inclusion of the 36-year old in Indian Premier League (IPL) gave him a great fan base in India. He doesn’t have a great season this year with the bat, but he scored a 38-ball 77 in the final against Sunrisers and gave his side a great start to the chase of 209. However, his side, RCB still fell 8 runs short of victory as Sunrisers won their maiden IPL trophy.
RCB skipper Virat Kohli has been the run machine for RCB scoring 973 runs in this edition of IPL and being the first cricketer to score 4 hundreds in a single edition of IPL. Virat won the orange cap (for most runs) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the purple cap (for most wickets) in the 9th edition of IPL.
