A team that performed consistently right through the tournament, Trinbago Knight Riders clinched their 2nd Caribbean Premier League (CPL) title after a thrilling 3-wicket win over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the finale. Knight Riders were reduced to 90/7 in the 136-run chase but Denesh Ramdin and Kevon Cooper rescued their team with an unbeaten partnership. Cooper scored 23 runs in six balls when his team needed 28 from 13 balls as TKR chased down the target with one over to spare.

10 – Dwayne Bravo has been a part of 10 Twenty20 tournament final victories; the 2nd most for any player after Kieron Pollard who has been a part of 12 T20 tournament final wins.

10 – Trinbago Knight Riders’ 10 wins in this tournament are the most number of wins for any team in a single edition of the CPL. Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel (TKR) and Jamaica Tallawahs won eight games each in the 2015 and 2016 editions respectively.

12.23 – Sunil Narine’s batting average in the 2017 CPL is the lowest for any player in this tournament with 150+ runs. Narine scored 159 runs in 13 innings with an individual highest of 79.

17.73 – Mohammad Hafeez’s batting average 17.73 in Twenty20 finals is the lowest average for any player. (Min: 150 runs) Chris Gayle also averages only 24.5 in the Twenty20 finals, which is the 4th lowest for any player.

46* – The 46-run stand for the 8th wicket between Kevon Cooper and Denesh Ramdin is the 2nd highest stand for 6th or lower wicket in a successful Twenty20 final run-chase. The highest is 54* between Marlon Samuels and Carlos Brathwaite in the 2016 World T20 final against England for the 7th wicket.

136 – The 136-run chase by TKR is the highest successful run-chase in a CPL final. The previous highest successful chase in a CPL final was 129 by Jamaica Tallahwas against Guyana Amazon Warriors in 2013.

994 – Runs Chris Gayle scored in knockouts and qualifier matches in Twenty20 cricket so far. Shoaib Malik (1088) is the only player to score more runs in Twenty20 knockouts and qualifiers than Gayle.
