4. Mohammad Nabi

Mohammad Nabi recently led the Afghanistan side in the Asia Cup 2022 and he has been named the captain for the T20 World Cup 2022. However, Nabi is 37 years old at the moment, and hence he might probably not be part of the T20 World Cup in 2024 due to the age factor.

The all-rounder has had a big part to play in the Afghanistan middle order with the bat and also with his off-spin bowling. He has been playing in a lot of T20 leagues around the world and is a valuable asset in the side. However, looking at the future of the Afghanistan side, Nabi might consider retiring from the T20Is after the T20 World Cup 2022.

Also, Afghanistan need to groom a leader for the next year’s ODI World Cup and hence, they might move on from the all-rounder. It will be wiser for Nabi to retire from the format after the ICC event in Australia.
