  1. Romario Shepherd

Speaking of getting someone to fill in Dwayne Bravo’s shoes, West Indies' Romario Shepherd might be CSK’s number-one choice. Though his skillset with the bat can not be compared to Bravo, the 28-year-old can be groomed into a lethal all-rounder.

In his past few white-ball outings, he has proved to be a worthy bowler. He managed to restrict the batters by not conceding many runs during his spell and also proved to be handy with the bat while batting down the order.

Interestingly, CSK had gotten into a bidding war with Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the IPL 2022 mega-auction. Shepherd was listed at a base price of 75 Lakhs, and he was eventually picked up by SRH for a whopping 7.75 crores. CSK had their eye on the 28-year-old last year, and they signed him for the SA20 with Joburg Super Kings. Thus, there are high chances of the franchise trying to get their hands on the tall all-rounder, again.
