2. David Warner (DC)
Having won the Orange Cap three times and leading Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) to their maiden title, David Warner is undoubtedly one of the legends of the IPL. The veteran opener joined Delhi Capitals (DC) ahead of the 2022 season and top-scored for them with 432 runs at an average of 48 including five fifties.
Expectations were high that the Australian would once again deliver in the 2024 season, but this time he completely struggled to find the runs. Warner scored just 168 runs in eight innings at an average of 21.0 and a strike rate of 134.40. He was dropped from the playing XI after a series of poor performances.
