Shashank Singh Shashank Singh has displayed his batting mettle with his couple of scintillating knocks for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their last two contests. Against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, he took his team home with his unbeaten 61-run knock off 29 balls. Similarly against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Mohali, he emerged as a threat to the Orange Army and took the game close with his unbeaten 46-run innings off 25 deliveries. In the end, Punjab lost the game by a narrow margin of two runs but the 32-year-old’s courageous innings became the talk of the town. 3. Abhishek Sharma Abhishek Sharma has looked aggressive with his bat since the start of the competition. As a top-order batter, he has delivered quality starts to the Sunrisers consistently. Talking about his batting numbers, the southpaw has amassed 177 runs in five games at a stellar strike rate of 208.23. Against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, SRH registered IPL’s highest team total of 277 runs, and the 23-year-old contributed 63 runs off just 23 balls. He completed his fifty in just 16 balls and became the Sunriser to notch up the fastest half-century. 2. Mayank Yadav Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have looked extremely confident after losing their maiden game of the competition against Rajasthan Royals (RR). During their campaign, Lucknow have got a talented bowler Mayank Yadav, who has proven himself with his sensational pace and variations. In Lucknow’s one-sided victories against PBKS and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), the 21-year-old received the Player of the Match award for recording three-wicket hauls. Grabbing six wickets in three contests at a frugal economy of 6.00, he is currently the leading wicket-taker for the Super Giants. 1. Riyan Parag Riyan Parag has emerged as a match-winning name for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the season. Batting in the middle order, he has done his job efficiently. Currently, RR is sitting on the top of the points table with four wins off five games and Parag has made a vital contribution to his team’s scintillating campaign so far. The 22-year-old has smashed 261 runs in five contests at a magnificent strike rate of 158.18 with three half-centuries and is the second-leading run-scorer in the competition. His role will be crucial for the Royals’ remaining campaign.
