Gujarat Titans (GT) will end their campaign of the Indian Premier League 2024 when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on the road on Monday, May 20 in match no. 66. The encounter will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, which has seen some high-scoring thrillers in the season.

GT skipper Shubman Gill who was captaining any team for the first time in his career saw the franchise being plagued by inconsistencies. There was a minor hope for the Titans when they beat Chennai Super Kings at home, but that turned out to be a false dawn.

There was much expectation on Monday as the Titans were set to take on Kolkata Knight Riders at home. A win could have kept the hopes alive for the Titans, but it wasn’t just to be, as a continuous downpour meant that the game ended without even the toss taking place, giving both the teams a point each at the IPL 2024 Points Table.

Nonetheless, the Titans will be playing for pride against SRH, and the visitors will be hopeful of making their trip to Hyderabad count. And a lot of that will depend on the playing combination they enter into the game with. With that said, let's take a look at the strongest predicted playing combination for GT against SRH in the mouthwatering clash that awaits.

Here is the strongest XI for Gujarat Titans versus SRH in IPL 2024:

Openers – Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan

After a mostly quiet campaign with the bat, Shubman Gill finally showed his best form with an impressive century against Chennai Super Kings. The 24-year-old was at his classiest best and will be eyeing to continue from where he left off in the previous encounter.

Partnering Gill will be Tamil Nadu's Sai Sudharsan. The left-hand batter has been the highest run-getter for the franchise and his form will decide the fate of Titans in the clash against Hyderabad. If the opening pair lasts longer, it might create trouble for SRH bowlers, as the pitch at Hyderabad has also been a batter's paradise of late.

Middle-order – Matthew Wade and David Miller

With Wriddhiman Saha's back spasm added with poor run of form, the Titans decided to rope in Matthew Wade. The Australian is yet to do anything big with the bat and will want to end the season on a impressive note from a personal point of view.

David Miller had one moment of brilliance with the bat against Delhi Capitals where he nearly pulled off an amazing win. The South African this year hasn’t had a great season and will hope to end it on a high note. The southpaw remains a force to be reckoned with in the GT's batting order, and thus, will surely want to end his campaign on a high.

All-rounders – Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, and Rashid Khan

Young Shahrukh Khan has been impressive with the limited chances he has got. Gujarat Titans have seen what the right-handed batter can do after his exploits with the bat this season.

Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan would have hoped for a better season for the Titans this year. The duo have been instrumental in many wins for their side in the past haven’t been able to show the same form. For Rashid Khan in particular it will be great chance to prove a point as he visits his former team and look to spoil their playoffs aspirations.

Bowlers – Noor Ahmad, Umesh Yadav, Sandeep Warrier, and Kartik Tyagi

Young spinner Noor Ahmad has been impressive in patches but has failed to do justice to his talents to spin the consistently deliver the goods with his left-arm spin. Pacers Umesh Yadav and Kartik Tyagi will want to do well with the ball to show the management they deserve to be retained in the team. The younger one has played a few games for SRH and will have to impress a lot, as it will be the speedster's best opportunity to make it count.

Another young GT pacer, Sandeep Warrier, has been impressive with the ball with his pace and ability to bowl a tight line and length. The 33-year-old has been one of the few bright sparks for the Titans this year with the ball in the pace tank.
