Some of the batters have struggled to score runs even on the flattest of wickets. Such batters have hurt the side. The results of the teams have aligned with the batting shows.&nbsp;</p>

Wriddhiman Saha, Azmatullah Omarzai and Vijay Shankar have been poor, and David Miller, Sai Sudarshan, and Rashid Khan are good in patches. Rahul Tewatia has been good as a finisher.&nbsp;</p>

<p>PBKS has been mostly reliant on the emerging duo of Ashutosh Sharma and Swapnil Singh lower down the order. In some games, the duo of Prabsimran Singh and Jonny Bairstow came good for them. But others like Shikhar Dhawan, Atharv Taide, Rilee Rossouw, Liam Livingstone, Sam Curran, and Jitesh Sharma have been poor with the bat.</p>

<p>MI's batting did collectively well in the first few matches. But the likes of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan fell off the radar after the first 5 games. Their batting is now dependent on Suryakumar Yadav, Nehal Wadhera, and Tilak Varma. Tim David and Hardik Pandya have had their moments but have not been consistent in finishing the games.</p>

<p>CSK's batting has been highly reliant on Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube. At the top, Ajinkya Rahane and Rachin Ravindra have been inconsistent. Daryl Mitchell and Sameer Rizvi have not done anything significant either. While MS Dhoni has been brilliant lower down the order, Ravindra Jadeja has had a mixed bag as a batter.</p>

<p>RR have a good set of players. Their batting has revolved around the duo of Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag who have been at their best. In the opening order, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler have returned to form but did not bat well in the first 4-5 games. While Rovman Powell has been good, Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer have not been at their best.</p>

Quinton De Kock, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ayush Badoni have been only good in patches. LSG would love to get better contributions from the Indian young players.</p>

In the middle order, the likes of Rishabh Pant, Abhishek Porel, and Tristan Stubbs have been firing as well. Additionally, they have the likes of Mitchell Marsh, Shai Hope, and Axar Patel who have been decent with their performances.</p>
