Yash Dayal has played for GT and RCB in the league so far. The young pacer made his IPL debut in 2022 and helped GT win their maiden title. In 2023, he bowled a bad spell against KKR and was dropped for the rest of the season. In the IPL auction 2024, RCB picked the left-arm pacer. In a season where the pitches have been a nightmare for the bowlers, Dayal has done reasonably well for RCB.
In nine matches, the pace bowler has eight wickets at an average of 39.63, SR of 25.50, and an economy rate of 9.32. His best bowling figures was registered against KKR. Despite bowling well, he went for runs. For GT, he claimed 13 wickets in 14 matches at a bowling average of 35.46, SR of 21.23, and an economy rate of 10.02. His best figures for GT was 3/40. Yash has a lot to improve and a long career ahead of him.
