33-year-old Pakistani player Iftikhar Ahmed has been one of the worst picks for his side during the T20 World Cup. The right-handed batter has scored 23 runs from 2 matches with an average of 11.5 and strike rate of 100. His inability to finish the game against India has been rightly called out after Pakistan choked during their chase in a low-scoring game.

3. India – Shivam Dube

When the Indian squad was announced for the World Cup, many fans were overjoyed that Shivam Dube was part of the 15. The left-handed batting all-rounder had a decent season with Chennai Super Kings during IPL 2024. The 30-year-old though has managed to score a mere 34 runs with 31 not out against USA being the best. His dropped catch of Mohammad Rizwan could have turned costly if India hadn’t won the game.
