Anjali Sarvani failed to be productive with the ball for UPW for two consecutive seasons. After getting retained, her duty was to showcase her bowling mettle and prove her franchise’s decision correct. However, she couldn’t satiate her team, bagging only two wickets in four contests at an economy of 11.44.
UP won their first game by seven wickets but Sarvani’s bowling numbers were disastrous as she took one wicket and leaked 38 runs in her four-over spell. Against RCB in Bengaluru, her numbers got worse as she gave away runs at an economy of 14.33 in three overs.
