2. Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra will be one of the oldest players to go under the hammer at the forthcoming auction and has kept his base price - INR 50 lakhs. The 40-year-old has a history of representing India across all three formats. Apart from that, he is also the fourth-highest wicket-taker in IPL history with 166 scalps in 154 matches at an impressive economy rate of 7.35.

The Indian leggie has also clinched three hat-tricks in the league. However, these attractive bowling statistics couldn’t get him a buyer at the IPL 2022 mega auction. At the 2023 mini-auction, the same could happen as the franchises might consider younger options over him.

He has wealth of experience when it comes to playing in the t20 circuit but the age factor might just rule him out of the contention this time around too.
