Urvashi Rautela The B-town celebrity made the news after she made an alleged remark about Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant in an interview. The pair then went on to share cryptic messages from their social media handles, throwing shade at each other without mentioning any names. The saga took another turn when Urvashi Rautela was spotted in the stands during India's clash with Pakistan in the 2022 Asia Cup. She later went on to share a fan-made video featuring her and young Pakistani pacer Naseem Shah, which broke the internet. When the Pakistani pacer was asked about Rautela's story, the youngster remarked that he doesn't even know who she (Urvashi) is. Naseem's interview invoked a meme fest on the internet, trolling the Bollywood actress for her antics. 2. Sofia Hayat Sofia Hayat, a model turned actress, caused a huge stir on social media in 2012 after sharing controversial tweets about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The former Bigg Boss contestant who is known for making controversial statements claimed that she had an affair with current Indian skipper Rohit Sharma which ended in 2017. She also remarked on turning down Rohit because Virat is a 'better player in and off the pitch. Her viral tweets received huge backlash from cricket fans, who trolled her for the attention-seeking antics. 3. Anushka Sharma Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has often been in the news for his prolific abilities with the bat for the Indian team. But his better half and renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has often been targeted by cricket fans for all the wrong reasons. Anushka Sharma was once again a hot topic among cricket fans when India were subjected to a humiliating ten-wicket defeat by arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2021 T20 World Cup. The loss snapped India's winning streak against Pakistan in World Cup matches. The Bollywood actress was trolled mercilessly by the netizens as the Virat Kohli-led Indian team were defeated by the neighbours. She has often been criticized by fans for being the reason behind Virat's shortcomings on the international stage. 4. Alia Bhatt The much-maligned Bollywood actress is often in the news for her rather unintelligent remarks about things in general. Alia Bhatt was trolled by cricket fans earlier this year when she revealed her favorite cricketers. The B-town celebrity revealed that Rohit Sharma was her current favorite cricketer, but former Indian skipper Virat Kohli is her all-time favorite. Her answer was very diplomatic since both Rohit and Virat are active players and have a huge fan following on social media. The actress tried to refrain from controversies with her answer, but it wasn't to be. Fans on Twitter mocked her for the diplomatic interview and reckoned she might didn't even know the basic rules of cricket, let alone watch the popular game. 5. Sri Reddy Making ill-tempered remarks about a cricketer is one thing, but trying to tarnish the reputation of the greatest cricketer of all time will never go down well with fans. Telugu actress Sri Reddy did exactly that by accusing batting great Sachin Tendulkar. The actress tried to defame the legendary cricket by accusing him of having an affair with a Tollywood actress in her Facebook post. She wrote, "A romantic guy called Sachin Tendulkaran,when he came to Hyderabad, charmi'ng girl did a romance wt him..high profile chamundeswar swami is a middle person..greatest persons can play well i mean romance well ????" The controversial figure received widespread criticism from the fans on social media who blasted her for trying to taint the reputation of the 2011-World Cup winner.
