5 Indian players with centuries across formats
There have been certain Indian batters who have etched their names in history books by notching up centuries in all three formats.
1. Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill has taken the international circuit by storm with his spectacular performances. The 23-year-old has done exceedingly well in his short career and taken bowling attacks to the cleaners. He has featured in 21 ODIs and aggregated 1254 runs at an excellent strike rate of 109.80, including a blistering double ton in the first game of the three-match ODI series against New Zealand recently.
When India locked horns with Bangladesh in the first game of the two-match Test series in December 2022, Shubman was in pristine touch and notched up his maiden Test century. Then in the final game of the recently concluded three-match T20I series against the Black Caps, the ace batter was at his best and plundered 126* runs off 63 deliveries.
With the majestic knock in Ahmedabad, Shubman became the fifth Indian batter to score centuries across formats. The elegant batter has been batting like a dream and knocking the wind out of bowling attacks that are coming his way. It would not be a surprise if he keeps racking up centuries for fun in the years to come.
