3. Retired out not allowed in death overs

While the IPL is known for high-intensity action, particularly in the death overs, another twist could be to disallow the retired-out tactic in the final five overs.

Result:

This would raise the stakes further in close games. Teams would have to commit to their chosen batters at the end, trusting them to deliver under pressure. No easy exits—only clutch performances, tactical depth, and faith in the line-up would win matches in the final stretch.
