7. Ben Stokes
England Test skipper Ben Stokes is one of the incredible all-rounders in world cricket. The star player has achieved a lot of success as a player in the international arena. In his 12-year international career, he hasn’t got involved in a lot of controversies. However, in 2017, he got into huge trouble in Bristol.
After England’s victory against the West Indies in the third ODI, Stokes got arrested for getting involved in a fight outside Mbargo nightclub in Bristol. The England all-rounder spent a night behind bars but got released later without any charges. There were reports that claimed that he injured his hand in the fight.
In August 2018, Stokes got acquitted after the jury accepted that the England stalwart acted in self-defense. The court concluded that Stokes was found not guilty and it was a huge victory for the veteran all-rounder and his family, who went through 11 months of ordeal.
