There are certain players who have taken the T20I circuit by storm with their jaw-dropping performances in this calendar year.
10. Joshua Little
Joshua Little has been a regular feature for Ireland in the white-ball circuit. The ace pacer is a genuine wicket-taker and has displayed the ability to bowl at any phase of the game. He has played 22 ODIs and taken 33 wickets at an economy of 5.80. The 23-year-old has featured in 53 T20Is and picked up 62 wickets at an economy of 7.65.
Little has been quite impeccable with the ball in 2022 and is the leading wicket-taker of the year with 39 scalps to his name in 26 matches at an economy of 7.58. He has made the ball talk at the start of innings and has also been impeccable with his variations at the death overs.
The left-arm pacer also showed his bowling might at the grandest stage and bagged 11 wickets in seven games at an economy of 7.00, which includes a splendid hat-trick against New Zealand. He was skipper Andrew Balbirnie's go-to man for crunch situations and has delivered the goods on most occasions. He was at the forefront of a historic win against the eventual T20 World Champions, England, picking up two wickets while conceding just 16 runs.
