Rishabh Pant will be making his return to Test cricket after 20 months. Adjusting to that intensity may prove to be difficult and it needs to be seen how well he does. Playing at home, Pant has a brilliant opportunity to do well and seal his spot but his recent form is slightly concerning. In the ODI series against Sri Lanka, the keeper-batter struggled and even flopped in the first innings of the Duleep Trophy.

He hit a half-century in the second innings of the game against India A but there are still doubts. The series against Bangladesh is the best opportunity for the cricketer to find his rhythm as Pant will arguably be one of the most important players if not the most important against Australia later in the year.
