8. Kamlesh Nagarkoti
Delhi Capitals picked Kamlesh Nagarkoti as a backup Indian seamer. With the likes of top Indian bowlers Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed performing well, the youngster did not get many opportunities. The 22-year-old got a lone game in 2022 where he conceded 29 runs off two overs.
Delhi franchise have depth in their fast bowling arsenal with Chetan Sakariya warming the bench for the majority of the season. The presence of Nagarkoti appears to be more of a luxury than a need. This makes him a prospect to get traded.
Some teams are eyeing an Indian seamer and the Rajasthan-born could be a good fit with his ability to clock speeds of 140kmph. He also had a fair amount of IPL experience which is an added advantage.
