IPL 2023: 10 Players who might get traded to other team in trading window
The IPL trading window will reportedly open in November or December.
It has been just a few months since Gujrat Titans have crowned the champions of IPL 2022 but the backward counting for the next season has already started. BCCI is planning to conduct a mini-auction for the upcoming IPL 2023. Before the auction, there will be an exciting trading window where players can move from one franchise to another.
The trading window has been reported to open in November or December. Ravindra Jadeja is the biggest name that is expected to appear in the window. Let us have a look at the top ten players who could potentially be traded ahead of the mini-auction.
10 Players who could get traded to other team:
1. Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja had quite a roller coaster of a year in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. Ahead of the season, the veteran allrounder was handed over the captaincy duties as MS Dhoni stepped down from the role. However, the four-time IPL champions had an awful start to their campaign suffering a string of defeats.
Jadeja’s batting form also took a hit and it seemed the captaincy had taken a toll on his form. Midway in the season with CSK almost out of the playoffs race, the ace-allrounder was sacked from captaincy, and Dhoni returned as the skipper. The 33-year-old then was sidelined due to injury and there were talks of him being unhappy with the management.
The rift between the southpaw and the administration appeared to grow as Jadeja deleted all his Instagram posts related to CSK recently. Though the star allrounder had a poor season where he could accumulate only 116 runs in 10 matches with a strike rate of 118.37, he is still regarded as among the best all-rounders in world cricket at the moment. The trading window could see many franchises trying to rope in the ace Indian allrounder. Also, CSK on the other hand shall gather a whopping 16 Cr. on releasing Jadeja and they could use this to build the side.
