IPL 2023: 5 in-form Indian players who deserve to get picked at upcoming auction
IPL 2023 auction is slated to be held on December 23 in Kochi.
1. Jaydev Unadkat
Jaydev Unadkat has been a prominent figure in the domestic arena and been carrying the mantle of Saurashtra’s bowling attack for over a decade now. The 31-year-old has featured in 96 first-class games and picked up 353 wickets at an average of 23.04. Also, he has bagged 168 scalps in 116 List-A matches at an economy of 4.76.
Unadkat ignited the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 with his stunning performances. He was the leading wicket-taker of the competition with 19 wickets to his name in ten matches at an economy of 3.33. His bowling exploits were instrumental in Saurashtra’s title triumph. Courtesy of the left-arm pacer’s stellar displays, he made a comeback to India’s Test set-up.
The Porbandar-born has also proven his mettle in the cash-rich league time and time again. He has featured in 91 games and bagged as many wickets at an economy of 8.79. Unadkat brings a wealth of experience and given the ace pacer has found his mojo back, many franchises must be eager to add him to their arsenal.
