1. Mohammad Nabi

Mohammad Nabi has been a giant of a player in the T20 circuit. He has proven his all-round might in the T20 leagues around the world. The 37-year-old has featured in 355 games and amassed an insane tally of 5203 runs at a strike rate of 137.64. On the bowling front, he has bagged 322 wickets at an economy of 6.99.

Kolkata Knight Riders signed the veteran all-rounder at the 2022 IPL auction to add depth to the side. However, Nabi failed to break into the playing XI and had to warm the bench for the entire season. The Afghanistan cricketer did not fit into KKR’s scheme of things going forward and the franchise released him ahead of the forthcoming auction.

Nabi has not been in the best of touches in the international arena. He has played 18 T20Is this calendar year and has managed 163 runs at a strike rate of 115.60. The Afghan veteran is presently at the twilight of his career and his numbers suggest that he is not at the standard he was at once. Thus, IPL franchises will be hesitant to sign him at IPL 2023 auction. Last year too, only KKR raise the paddle for the ace all-rounder, and this time around he might as well go unsold.
