Cameron Green has taken the international circuit by storm with his spectacular performances.
1. Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giants roped in Jason Holder for the 15th edition of the cash-rich league to add depth to the side. However, he was not able to perform as per the expectations. Holder took 14 wickets in 12 games but gave away runs at an economy of 9.42. On the batting front, he scored just 58 runs at a strike rate of 131.82.
LSG spent a staggering sum of INR 8.75 crore at the 2022 mega auction to acquire Holder's services and would have expected more from him. So, the team management decided against retaining the 31-year-old. Therefore, the Lucknow franchise will head into the auction seeking a quality seam-bowling all-rounder and they could ponder over including Green.
The 23-year-old has shown his versatility to bat at the top order and also the middle order and thus, gives a team more options with the bat. With the ball, Green can make the ball talk at the start of the innings and also can act as an enforcer in the middle overs. Therefore, the Australian all-rounder is a valuable addition to any side and LSG could go hammer and tongs to sign him at the auction.
