5. Kyle Mayers
Kyle Mayers has been a proven performer in the international arena. He has featured in 19 ODIs and scored 536 runs at a strike rate of 90.54. Talking about the shortest format, the 30-year-old has racked up 482 runs in 24 matches at a strike rate of 135.77. Besides his batting might, Kyle has been a wily customer with the ball and chipped in timely wickets.
Mayers took the first week of the cash-rich league by storm with his breathtaking performances. When Lucknow Super Giants faced Delhi Capitals, the Barbados-born inflicted carnage on the opposition and blasted 73 runs off 38 deliveries, which comprised two fours and seven sixes.
The West Indies all-rounder also put up a show with the bat in the encounter against Chennai Super Kings. He took the attack to the opposition right from the get-go and hammered 53 runs off 22 deliveries. Mayers has been a destroyer with the bat for LSG and would look to be at his best in the coming weeks of the T20 extravaganza.
