The ongoing IPL 2023 is now gradually entering a crucial stage after three thrilling weeks of cricketing action. There weren't as many run-fests after several high-scoring encounters were on display in the second week. Moving forward, to increase their chances of making the playoffs, the teams will look to add points and gain momentum.

The third week's highest score was recorded by the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) with a whopping 226 runs. Teams played some phenomenal and aggressive brand of cricket to put up some massive totals on the board.  

The ten IPL franchises have scored over 3300 runs in a total of ten games during the third week. After saying that, and considering the phenomenal efforts of the players, let us look at some of the sensational batting performances.

5. Devon Conway 83(45) vs RCB

Devon Conway hit his second consecutive fifty against RCB, opening a new chapter in the CSK-RCB rivalry. The Kiwi opener played a key role in CSK's memorable victory at the M Chinnaswamy, along with Shivam Dube (52 off 27). 

Conway lost Ruturaj Gaikwad in just the second over of the contest, courtesy of Mohammed Siraj. The Southpaw teamed up with Dube and Ajinkya Rahane to stitch 80-run and 74-run partnerships, respectively. 

Conway lit up the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on fire with six boundaries and as many sixes, guiding his team to a total of 226/6. Despite Glenn Maxwell's outstanding 76 off 36, CSK were able to hold RCB to 218 and win the game by eight runs.
