Philip Salt is one of the most dangerous openers in this season. The right-hander has accumulated 435 runs in 12 matches at a strike rate of 182.01. Known for his power-hitting, Salt can take the game away from his opponents in the powerplay. GT must get him out early to avoid maximum damage.
Umesh Yadav will be operating with the new ball for GT and the veteran fast bowler will have to shoulder the responsibility of giving the team a strong start. The right-arm pacer will look to dismiss Salt in the powerplay and give GT an early breakthrough.
