Ruturaj Gaikwad will be one of the front runners for the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/stats/batting-most-runs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Orange Cap in the IPL 2024</a>. He has already worn the Orange Cap once in IPL 2021 with 635 runs in the season for CSK. Even in the previous IPL season in 2023, Gaikwad hammered 590 runs in 16 games with four fifties and best score of 92 with a strike rate of 147.50. <o:p></o:p>
Gaikwad had also led the Indian team to the Asian Games gold medal and most recently, scored his maiden T20I ton against Australia, scoring 123*. Gaikwad is earmarked as a future CSK and potentially, India captain. He will be gunning for the Orange Cap in the IPL 2024 after recovering from a finger injury and keep an eye on the young opener. <o:p></o:p>

He also is the highest-ever run-getter in IPL with 7263 runs with 7 centuries and 50 fifties to his name. Kohli also had an excellent outing in ICC World Cup 2023 with more than 700 runs. He missed the ongoing England Test series due to personal reasons.<o:p></o:p>
