There were a lot of expectations prior to the start of the season as Heinrich Klaasen came into the tournament in blistering form. He continued his good form for the Sunrisers Hyderabad as he amassed more than 450 runs in this edition of the Indian Premier League.

The South African batter’s strike rate was also around 180, which was amazing. Moreover, he was able to build on the start given to the team by the top order. Even though he had a dip in form during the later half of the campaign, he was still one of the best finishers this season.
