Notably, key players like Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan, two of Bangladesh's biggest representatives in the IPL, were not picked either. The left-arm pacer was Bangladesh's only player in the IPL 2024, who played for CSK. Neither was he picked in the IPL Auctions 2025, despite setting a base price of INR 2 crores.
