4. Ashish Nehra (2017) - Hamstring injury
Former India cricketer Ashish Nehra received a lot of appreciation this year for his excellent job as the head coach of Gujarat Titans. However, there was a time when his IPL career also became the victim of an injury. Playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016, he was looking fine with the ball bagging nine wickets in eight games, but the star cricketer after picking up a hamstring injury in a game against Punjab Kings got ruled out of the tournament.
In 2017, he became a part of the SRH again to help them defend their title. For the franchise, he was a key bowler because of his immense experience and bowling skills in death overs. But his hamstring injury returned to force him to leave the tournament.
In November 2017, he gave emotional moments to his fans by bidding adieu to all forms of cricket after having an amazing 18 years at the international level and more than nine years of an IPL career.
