2. Sheldon Jackson

Sheldon Jackson is playing first-class cricket since 2011 and in these years, he was a part of Saurashtra and Puducherry. For both teams, he has notched up 6,164 runs in 139 innings of 83 matches, with 19 centuries and 33 half-centuries. In the IPL, his journey started in 2009 when he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders.

However, he couldn’t play his debut league match till 2017 as he was benched by the franchises Kolkata Knight Riders (2009-2010 & 2015-16) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (2013-2014). In 2017, he debuted in the league as he featured in the playing XI of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Delhi Capitals (DC).

Playing the debut game, he played an innings of 12 runs off five deliveries to take his team home. He ended his debut season hitting only 38 runs in four contests at a strike rate of 122.58. Last year, appearing in a KKR jersey again, he scored only 23 runs in five games at a disappointing strike rate of 88.46.
