7. Axar Patel
Axar Patel was roped in by the Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2013. However, the spin-bowling all-rounder didn't play a single game for the franchise. 11 years later, Axar played a crucial role in India's triumphant campaign in the T20 World Cup. Some reports suggest that he could be in line to replace Rishabh Pant as the captain of Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025.

After ending his association with MI, Axar made his IPL debut for Punjab Kings before joining Delhi Capitals in 2019. The 30-year-old has played 150 IPL games and scored 1,653 runs at an average of 21.47 and a strike rate of 130.88. With the ball, he has picked up 123 wickets at 30.55.
