2. Hardik Pandya
Currently, Hardik Pandya is one of the biggest all-rounders in the international circuit. The dynamic player is known for his aggressive playing style in white-ball cricket. During India’s tour of Australia 2015-16, Pandya got his debut international game in the first T20I match in Adelaide. Earlier, in 2015, Hardik was noted in MI’s successful 2015 IPL campaign.
After the Australia T20I series, the all-rounder represented India in the 2016 Asia Cup in Bangladesh and T20 World Cup 2016 held in India. Considering his fine performance in the shortest form of the game, the BCCI gave him a chance in the ODI squad as well. Currently, the veteran is an integral part of the Indian team in the limited-overs formats.
While talking about his stint at MI, the all-rounder served the five-time franchises till 2021. In seven IPL seasons for MI, Pandya showed up in 92 matches and chalked up 1476 runs at a strike rate of 153.91. With the ball, he took 42 wickets in 60 innings at an economy of 9.06.
After delivering his services to MI for more than six years, he joined the then newly-formed franchise Gujarat Titans (GT) in 2022. Under his captaincy, the GT lifted the IPL trophy in their maiden season.
