Jasprit Bumrah is counted among the best pacers in the world. With his disciplined fast bowling for years, he has emerged as India’s bowling spearhead in all forms of the sport. So far, the speedster has bagged 319 wickets for India in 162 international matches. Before becoming a star India player, Jasprit Bumrah went through a lot of ups and downs in India’s domestic circuit. 

Luckily, during the early stage of his career, he got fetched by MI at the 2013 IPL auction due to his scintillating bowling displays in the 2013-14 domestic competitions Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Ranji Trophy. In his maiden IPL season, he got two games and grabbed three wickets at an economy of 10.00. Till 2015, he couldn’t deliver admirable bowling numbers to MI but the franchise backed him consistently.

In 2016, the India quick made his international debut during India’s tour of Australia 2015-16 in both white-ball formats. During the campaign, he made his debut in both ODIs and T20Is and since then, he is a key member of India’s pace attack. In IPL, he is still associated with MI and is also the second-highest wicket-taker for the franchise with 145 wickets in 120 matches at an economy of 7.39.
