9. Rassie van der Dussen

One of the most important pillars of the South African middle-order across formats, Rassie van der Dussen is a force to be reckoned with. Rassie is a naturally attacking batter, who predominantly plays as an anchor but has the potential to change gears at will too. After the retirements of a set of Proteas legends like Ab de Villiers, Faf du Plessis (Test cricket), and JP Duminy, the onus of the middle order fell on Rassie's shoulders and he obliged.

The South African cricketer has earned the tag of being an all-format batter by the sheer weight of his perfomances. He has played 17 Tests, 38 ODIs, and 41 T20Is for South Africa and racked up 900, 1525, and 1044 runs respectively. van der Dussen has won plenty of games for South Africa and played a huge role in their success in recent fixtures.

The Pretoria-born cricketer made his international debut for South Africa in 2018 in a T20I against Zimbabwe. Since then, he has been a regular feature in the playing XI of Proteas across formats. He has plenty of versatility versatile batter and all the gears that an international-level batter should have.
