2. Deepak Chahar
Deepak Chahar is a classical swing bowler who is more than handy with the bat. After being sidelined for months due to injury, the 30-year-old made a comeback to cricket in the-recently concluded ODI series against Zimbabwe in August.
The bowling all-rounder made a decent return, picking five wickets in two outings. He is lethal with the bowl upfront, bamboozling batters with his swing. Deepak also has leg-cutters and off-cutters at his disposal which can prove effective in the later phases of the game.
The Agra-born cricketer has also shown his mettle with the bat in the international arena. With the T20 World Cup being held in Australia where there will be a lot of help for the fast bowlers, Chahar’s inclusion can prove quite useful. He is currently one of the reserve players in India's squad for the ongoing Asia Cup.
