5. Washington Sundar

Washington Sundar has been one of India’s premier all-rounders in the limited-overs format. The 22-year-old was in line to make it to the last year’s T20 World Cup but was ruled out due to injury. This year he is again in contention for a World Cup slot.

Sundar has been more of a bowling all-rounder, but in the last year or so his batting has seen an upsurge. IPL 2022 saw him play as a finisher for the Sunrisers Hyderabad where he scored runs at a fast pace.

The off-spinner has been quite impeccable with his lines and lengths and is known to contain batters with his consistent bowling. Sundar can bowl in different phases of the game and is very handy with the new ball.
